Support Us - The River Legacy Fund

Over time, the River Legacy Fund will meet two critical needs:

Help provide the financial stability River Network needs to be a reliable source of support to groups across the nation, and
allow us to make targeted grants to grassroots groups each year.

While the river and watershed protection community depends on our core program services, funding for those services can be uncertain from year to year. Consequently, it is currently difficult for us to meet many critical needs and take advantage of exceptional opportunities. Annual proceeds from the River Legacy Fund will help.

Because River Network works so closely with so many existing and emerging watershed groups, we often know exactly where a little money can make a big difference. The River Legacy Fund will allow us to help more new groups get started in critical and underserved areas.

It will also allow us to help more existing groups work through major transitions to reach new levels of effectiveness. Last, but not least, it will allow us to work closely with other groups involved in our issue-based projects.

The River Legacy Fund will be built by donors wishing to make a long-lasting contribution to river conservation and watershed protection.

The River Legacy Fund will pay dividends for watershed protection efforts across the nation for generations to come.
