This webinar will present a new Water Affordability Advocacy Toolkit published by Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and National Consumer Law Center (NCLC). The Toolkit offers a menu of utility- and state-level solutions, lifting up experiences, best practices, and policy recommendations from community organizations, advocates, and others around the country. Additionally, the National Coalition for Legislation and Education on Affordable Water will share a trailer for a new documentary film — Whose Water? The People’s Movement for Safe, Affordable Water and Sanitation in the United States — that tells the stories of community members organizing for access to safe and affordable water and sanitation.
