Fish Passage Funding
31
Event Info
Funding for fish passage projects, administered by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), has greatly increased since the passing of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and Inflation Reduction Act. One of the many programs receiving an increase in federal funding is the National Fish Passage Program, which supports projects restoring rivers, protecting wildlife, and rebuilding economies. The program provides financial and technical assistance for projects across the country to help conserve vulnerable species while building safer infrastructure for communities and improving climate resilience.
In this webinar, we’ll dive into the specifics of both the NOAA and FWS Fish Passage funding opportunities and hear from two groups who have successfully applied for and received funding from the two sources. We hope you’ll join us to explore these great opportunities, and come prepared with your questions and curiosities!
