Navigating the National Coastal Resilience Fund

Event Info
The National Coastal Resilience Fund (NCRF) is a national grant program funded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and managed by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF). This annual program supports targeted investments to help communities meet their resilience goals, elevating nature-based solutions to enhance the resilience of coastal communities facing climate change and flooding.
In 2023, with increased funding provided by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the NCRF awarded approximately $144 million in competitive grants to support planning, design, and implementation of nature-based resilience projects. Funding is open to many different entities, including nonprofits and community-based organizations.
In this webinar, we’ll dive into the specifics of the NCRF, discuss how to build a strong proposal, and unpack the challenges of applying for and managing this particular grant. We’ll be joined by representatives from NFWF and recipients of NCRF funding who will discuss their work and experiences.
