Alan Rollo
Alan Rollo (MT). Alan has been a key figure in Montana and national river conservation for over twenty-five years, actively engaged in a plethora of water quality programs. His impressive accomplishments are the result of quiet, relentless, difficult work that has and is resulting in positive, long-term changes in the Sun and Teton watersheds, and throughout the state of Montana. The Sun River Watershed covers 1.4 million acres. As watershed coordinator, Alan helps lead efforts to maintain and improve a viable agriculture economy through control of noxious weed infestations; improvement of overall water quality; stabilizing flows and stream banks throughout the watershed basin; reducing sediment loads; and improving fisheries.
